Composition And Species Of Ball Retainer Bearing

     Ball bearings are a kind of rolling bearing, ball mounted in the middle of the steel ring 

and outside the steel ring, can withstand a larger load, also known as rolling bearings.


    Structure and Composition:

    Ball bearings are mainly composed of four basic components: ball, inner ring, outer ring and 

retainer.General industrial ball bearings meet the AISI 52100 standard, the ball and the ring is 

usually made of high chrome steel, Rockwell hardness of about 61-65. (Such as: medium carbon 

steel, aluminum alloy) or non-metallic (such as: Teflon, PTFE, polymer materials), and the 

hardness of the retainer is lower than that of the ball and the ring.Ball bearings than the 

journal bearing friction frictional resistance is small, so the same speed, the friction will 

produce a ralatively low temperature.



    ① Single row radical ball bearings: compact structure, easy to use, the most widely used. 

Mainly used to bear the radial load, but also can withstand a certain amount of axial load. In 

high-speed devices, it can also be used instead of thrust bearings. This kind of bearing friction

 resistance is small, the limit speed is high, is suitable for the double bearing shaft with large

rigidity. The inclination of the shaft relative to the bearing housing is allowed to be within 

the range of 8 'to 16'.

    ② Double row of radial ball bearings: it has two rows of steel ball, outer ring raceway is 

the center of the bearing for the heart of the spherical, inner and outer ring axis tilt within 2

° ~ 3 ° can still work, good self-aligning performance. This kind of bearing is mainly used to 

bear the radial load, but also can not bear the axial load, suitable for multi-support and 

flexible ddeformation of the larger drive shaft.

    ③ To the heart thrust ball bearings: can bear the radical load-based radical axial joint 

load, the higher the speed limit. Ball and outer ring of the nominal contact angle of 12 °、 26 

° and  36 ° of the three kinds of contact angle can withstand greater axial load.

    ④ Thrust ball bearings: one-way and two-way two. Two-way thrust ball bearings have two live

 rings, one tight ring, two rolling elements and two cages. Tight ring and shaft tight sets, live 

ring installed in the bearing seat, the inner diameter of the ring than the tight ring diameter of

 0.2 to 1 mm. One-way thrust ball bearings can only withstand one-way axial load, two-way thrust

 ball bearings can withstand axial load in both directions. This type of bearing is not suitable

for high-speed work, high-speed should use thrust to the heart ball bearings.

    ⑤ Thrust to the heart ball bearings: contact angle greater than 45 °, can  withstand  the 

axial load-based axial radial joint load. The limit speed is higher than the thrust ball bearing.
